Stop Trump’s “Emergency” Plot to Take Over Elections

Donald Trump’s allies want him to declare a national “emergency” — so he can take control of our elections.

A draft executive order circulating among MAGA elites would let him federalize election oversight, seize voting machines, and override state and local officials ahead of the 2026 midterms. Under the false banner of “election integrity,” these extremists are laying the groundwork to control how — and whether — our votes are counted.

Congress cannot sit back and wait for this draft to become reality. Lawmakers must move now to block any executive order that would federalize or seize control of our elections and hold immediate hearings to expose this scheme.
