Stop the Trump Administration’s Attacks on Voting Rights

The Trump administration is reportedly preparing a sweeping new executive order aimed directly at vote-by-mail.

The White House has already confirmed the order is coming, and early reporting shows it will target the very systems that seniors, students, military families, disabled voters, and working people rely on to participate in our democracy.

That’s why Congress must act immediately. Lawmakers have the power — and the responsibility — to stop this attack before it’s signed. They can block funding, launch oversight hearings, and pass protections that ensure every eligible voter can safely cast a ballot by mail.

Sign the petition if you agree: Congress must block Trump’s forthcoming anti–vote-by-mail order and safeguard the right to vote for every American.

This isn’t happening in isolation. Earlier this year, the Trump administration issued a directive ordering states to reject any ballot that arrives after Election Day — even if it was mailed on time and properly postmarked. That means voters who follow every rule could still lose their voice because of postal delays beyond their control. The administration continues to defend these actions with baseless claims of widespread mail-in voter fraud, despite a complete lack of evidence.

These attacks form a coordinated strategy to shrink the electorate and cement partisan power. If Congress fails to intervene, these executive orders could become the new normal, stripping away access from the voters who already face the highest barriers and undermining the legitimacy of our elections.

We cannot allow that to happen. Tell Congress: Stop Trump’s anti-voter executive orders. Protect vote-by-mail from Republican attacks.
