Stop Selling Weapons to Saudi Arabia

In a move designed to bolster Russia’s war in Ukraine and harm the U.S. economy by raising gas prices, Saudi Arabia just colluded with Russia to cut global oil production by more than two million barrels per day.

This follows Saudi Arabia’s brutal murder and dismemberment of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi, as well as the country’s multi-year intervention in Yemen’s civil war, which has cost hundreds of thousands of Yemeni lives.

Now, a pair of progressives in Congress – Sen. Richard Blumenthal and Rep. Ro Khanna – are calling legislation that would put an immediate halt to U.S. weapons sales to Saudi Arabia.
