The Trump administration is lying about mass arrests. Trump officials publicly promoted 3,000 daily ICE arrest quotas while their lawyers denied any quota system exists in federal court. Arrest quotas are dangerous. They incentivize bad judgment, which is why they’re being challenged in the courts. Trump officials are showing deep disdain for the constitution and the judiciary when they lie to the courts, and we must stop them. Demand Congress investigate this enforcement deception scheme immediately.
