Trump’s so-called Freedom 250 celebration of America’s 250th anniversary isn’t about honoring our shared history. It’s a far-right nationalist spectacle designed to glorify Trump world, rewrite the past, and reward the powerful. Rather than confronting slavery, Native American genocide, and the Civil Rights Movement, this spectacle sidelines real history and elevates a far-right nationalist celebration of Trump world that erases vast swaths of our collective past. Instead of uplifting our shared legacy and striving for a more just future, it panders to corporate interests and big donors who want direct influence with the White House. Major corporations — including Mastercard and ExxonMobil — are paying millions to be listed as official sponsors of Freedom 250. Internal donor materials indicate that sponsors who give $1 million or more are promised access to President Trump. Sponsors paying $2.5 million or more get even more direct engagement, turning this national milestone into an exclusive, pay-for-access political exercise. One of the sponsors is Deloitte, a consulting giant that has reportedly received a $100 million contract with ICE. Deloitte is helping bankroll a political celebration tied to the same extremist agenda that fuels mass deportations, detention expansion, and cruelty toward immigrant communities. Freedom 250 is not a national commemoration. It is another Trump grift. We are calling on Deloitte and every corporate sponsor of Freedom 250 to immediately withdraw their funding and publicly cut ties with this project. Sign now to demand that Deloitte and other sponsors pull out of Freedom 250. Our history is not for sale.
