Stand With Voters Fighting Back Against Gerrymandering

Voting rights advocates and Black voters across the South are fighting back against attacks on fair representation!

After a Supreme Court ruling weakened key protections in the Voting Rights Act, lawmakers in several Southern states immediately moved to redraw maps in ways that could silence Black communities and weaken their political power.

But voters are refusing to stay silent.

Across Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, and beyond, people are rallying, marching, organizing, and speaking out against efforts to manipulate district maps for political gain.

This is about more than lines on a map. It’s about protecting the fundamental right of communities to choose their representatives — not letting politicians choose their voters.

Generations of civil rights leaders fought and sacrificed for voting rights. Now, a new generation is standing up to defend that progress and demand a democracy where every voice counts equally.
