Sixteen states — led by New York Attorney General Letitia James — are taking a powerful stand against the Trump administration’s reckless and politically motivated cuts to science funding. Together, they’re suing to stop $1.4 billion in slashed National Science Foundation (NSF) grants that are vital to advancing innovation, education, and national security.

These cuts hit programs designed to expand access to STEM for women, people of color, and individuals with disabilities. They also threaten to derail groundbreaking research and undercut America’s global leadership in science and technology.
