Planned Parenthood is fighting back against a cruel new law from the Trump administration that could block millions of Americans from accessing essential health care.

Trump’s so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill” bans Medicaid funding for any provider that performs abortions — even though federal funds already cannot be used for abortion services. This reckless provision would “defund” Planned Parenthood, forcing nearly 200 health centers across 24 states to shut their doors. More than 1.1 million patients could lose access to cancer screenings, STI testing, birth control, and other life-saving care.

But Planned Parenthood is standing strong. They’ve filed a lawsuit to block these cuts and vowed to “never stop fighting” for patients and communities in need. A federal judge has temporarily paused the Medicaid cuts — but the legal battle is far from over.
