Stand with California to Protect Our Communities

Governor Gavin Newsom and Attorney General Rob Bonta have taken bold legal action to stop the Trump administration from deploying National Guard troops and U.S. Marines onto the streets of Los Angeles without the state’s consent. Their message is clear: this is not a war zone, and political intimidation has no place in American cities.

Federal troops should not be used as a tool to silence dissent or stoke fear. The right to protest and be heard is a cornerstone of our democracy—and turning trained warfighters against civilians violates our laws and values.
