Stand with Biden: Tax the Rich

The Biden administration recently proposed a new minimum income tax of 20% on the top 0.01 percent of U.S. households  – those with a net worth of more than $100 million. If enacted, over half the revenue could come from households worth more than $1 billion. 

According to a White House fact sheet, “For too long, our tax code has rewarded wealth, not work, and contributed to growing income and wealth inequality in America. This minimum tax would make sure that the wealthiest Americans no longer pay a tax rate lower than teachers and firefighters.”
