Sign the petition: Protesting is a fundamental right

Peaceful assembly and protest are critical elements of democracy. 

The First Amendment protects this right, but in recent years, it has been challenged by law enforcement & conservative elected officials around the country. 

This unconstitutional attack on our First Amendment rights has come in many forms. Demonstrations are sometimes suppressed through mass arrests, indiscriminate use of force, or curfews. In Oklahoma, laws have gone as far as granting immunity to motorists who unintentionally kill or injure protesters.
