A year after the Supreme Court overturned Roe and took away the constitutionally protected right to abortion, the landscape of abortion access could be shifting again. 

Because there are no federal protections to abortion, an anti-abortion extremist judge’s ruled to disregard decades of science and data and FDA expertise to force mifepristone off the market. Mifepristone is one of the medications in the two-drug protocol that is now used in over half of the abortions in this country. Luckily, the Supreme Court reversed this decision, allowing Mifepristone to be accessible to people across the country. However, this was too close of a call! 

The attacks on abortion are relentless—conservative lawmakers won’t stop until they criminalize abortion from every angle. 

But NWLC is not backing down. 

We aren’t truly free unless we can control our own bodies, lives, and futures. Our laws should protect our rights, not try to control and dehumanize us.
