Sign If You Agree: Protesting is NOT Terrorism

Protesting is a fundamental right in a democracy—not an act of terrorism. But Donald Trump and his allies are working to criminalize dissent, using the full weight of the federal government to silence anyone who speaks out against his policies or his billionaire allies.

Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian rights activist, was recently arrested and faces deportation in a case so outrageous that even Department of Homeland Security officials admitted to The Intercept that it was politically motivated. Meanwhile, Trump is calling protests against Tesla and Elon Musk “domestic terrorism” and vowing to crack down on them. And in Congress, House Republicans are actively pushing for Tesla boycotts and demonstrations to be classified as acts of terrorism.

This is an authoritarian power grab, plain and simple. The right to protest is protected by the First Amendment—whether it’s against government policies, corporations, or billionaires who wield far too much influence over our democracy.

Trump and his enablers want to intimidate, silence, and punish their critics. They want to make an example out of people like Mahmoud Khalil and those standing up to Musk’s abuses at Tesla. If we don’t speak out now, it will only get worse.

Sign the petition to demand an end to these attacks on free speech and democracy. Protesting is NOT terrorism. It’s a right—and we will never stop fighting for it.
