By rescinding the EPA’s Endangerment Finding — the official determination that greenhouse gases endanger public health — the Administration is trying to gut the federal government’s authority to limit climate pollution under the Clean Air Act.

For more than 15 years, the Endangerment Finding has allowed the U.S. to set commonsense limits on carbon pollution from cars, trucks, power plants, and major polluters. It is grounded in overwhelming scientific evidence that climate change is real, human-caused, and already harming our health.
