A new bombshell report from Politico reveals that a $10 million Medicaid fraud settlement was secretly funneled to Hope Florida, a nonprofit linked to his wife, Casey DeSantis. The kicker? The money was supposed to go back to the state, but Governor DeSantis rerouted it to a program that dodges public oversight and may be acting as a shadow political action committee.

Though Governor DeSantis is ineligible to run for reelection, Casey DeSantis is planning to run next year and extend their dynasty. That’s why it’s crucial to hold them accountable now.

Investigations by Republican leaders have confirmed this deal didn’t go through the legislature, violated state rules, and may have helped DeSantis politically—all using taxpayer money. Families struggling to afford care got shafted while the governor lined the pockets of his allies.

This is a blatant abuse of power and public trust. Medicaid dollars aren’t political slush funds. Floridians didn’t sign up to bankroll DeSantis’s ambitions.
