Donald Trump held a $45 million birthday parade in our nation’s capital, all while stripping Medicaid funding from American families, raising grocery prices, and taking Pell Grants away from low-income students in need.

The parade’s multi-million dollar price tag – plus an estimated $16 million in potential damages to D.C.’s roads – comes at a time when American families are struggling to keep up with rising costs from Trump’s policies. That money would have been better spent on expanding health care access, lowering costs, and funding the government.
