Donald Trump’s nominee for Attorney General, former Florida attorney general Pam Bondi, proved she is entirely unqualified to be the highest law enforcement officer in the land during a disastrous Senate hearing.

Bondi refused to state that President Joe Biden won the 2020 election, refused to commit to preserving the evidence related to the January 6th investigation, pushed Trump’s election denial conspiracy theories, and said that she needed to “study” the 14th Amendment when pushed on whether or not she’d defend birthright citizenship.

On top of all this is her wildly corrupt past. She notoriously accepted a $25,000 donation from Trump in exchange for killing the investigation into his “Trump University” scam and is a registered lobbyist for more than 30 companies and entities, including the government of Qatar, who paid her $115,000 a month for her services.

These outrageous conflicts of interest and her sycophantic loyalty to Donald Trump make it clear that she is entirely unqualified to hold the position of Attorney General and must be rejected.
