Reject Anti-Science Dr. Casey Means for Surgeon General

Trump just nominated Dr. Casey Means for U.S. surgeon general, and it's a public health disaster in the making. 

Dr. Means has pushed fringe wellness fads, dismissed evidence-based medicine, and promoted dangerous pseudoscience through her startup Levels. She is unqualified and unfit to be America’s top public health voice. Over 50 leading health and consumer groups are already urging the Senate to reject her.

Incredibly, Trump admitted he barely knows her and nominated her after listening to conspiracy theorist RFK Jr. That’s not leadership, it’s negligence.

Tell the Senate: “Reject the nomination of Dr. Casey Means for surgeon general. Americans deserve a leader with a real medical background who understands and trusts science.”

Past surgeon generals have helped guide our nation through critical public health events and shaped public policy. It’s critical that the next surgeon general must be a credible, science-driven advocate for public health. 

But Dr. Means has shown she's more interested in influencer fame and selling hype than protecting lives. Her ideas are both unproven and dangerous.

We’re facing real crises: deadly heatwaves, new COVID variants, rising chronic illness. We need a surgeon general we can trust—not someone who spreads misinformation and profits off fear.

That’s why it’s critical that the Senate use its power to block this nomination. By raising our voices now, we can make sure science, not celebrity, leads our health decisions.
