Protect Students with Disabilities!

The Trump administration has wiped out the office in charge of special education and is preparing to move special education oversight to the Department of Health and Human Services.

These layoffs mean there won’t be any staff left to make sure the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) is followed. These changes put major funding and services at risk, leaving the rights of millions of children with disabilities in real danger.

Take action to demand the restoration of special education staffing and services and full IDEA funding and legal protections for students with disabilities.
