Protect Kids from Trump's Dangerous Anti-Vax Lies

President Trump just announced a new executive order that could make it harder for kids to get the lifesaving vaccines they need to stay healthy.

The order calls for separating the measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine into three separate shots and recommends spreading them out over separate doctor's visits.

Parents will now have to pay for three office visits instead of one and take more time off work – all leading to a higher likelihood that kids miss doses.

We can't let Trump play with kids' health just to advance his anti-vax conspiracy theories. Tell Congress to ensure vaccine recommendations follow the science proven to prevent disease.

Trump's executive order is based on misinformation that vaccines cause autism. Decades of research has shown that these claims are false.

Also, while the new recommendations call for separating the measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines into different shots, there are no existing formulations of separate shots available.

With America's measles cases at 35-year high, changes in the vaccine schedule could be deadly. Kids could die from an easily preventable disease because they aren't getting the shots they need.

Don't let Trump turn the clock backwards on decades of lifesaving scientific progress. Sign the petition to tell Congress to restore the evidence-based vaccine schedule.

The petition to Congress reads: "Investigate Trump’s dangerous changes to childhood vaccine recommendations, restore the evidence-based vaccine schedule, protect CDC guidance from political interference, and ensure parents get vaccine information from doctors and scientists — not anti-vaccine conspiracy theories."
