In his opinion overruling Roe v. Wade, Clarence Thomas named a few more Supreme Court precedents that he'd like to overturn: Same-sex marriage, sexual freedom, and birth control. Abortion allies in Congress went 49 years without codifying Roe v. Wade into law, leaving it vulnerable to this extremist court. We must be proactive to preserve our rights before the Supreme Court comes to take them away. The Republican strategy is clear: Use unaccountable, unelected Judges to win policies that could never pass through the democratic branches. By moving the fight over birth control to Congress, we can win. Tell Congress: Protect Birth Control from the Supreme Court! Pass a law protecting the right to birth control!
