News Outlets Must Condemn Fuentes’ Antisemitic Hate Speech

Right-wing personality Nick Fuentes is spreading explicit antisemitic conspiracy theories — portraying Jewish people as “powerful,” “connected,” and controlling culture and institutions. His rhetoric relies on long-standing, dangerous tropes that have fueled real-world violence for generations.

Yet too many outlets still treat his extremism as fringe provocation rather than the explicit hate speech it is. When platforms host or reference Fuentes without clear condemnation or context, they normalize bigotry and contribute to radicalization.

The media has a responsibility to call this out plainly. Journalists and broadcasters must clearly identify Fuentes’ rhetoric as antisemitic, refuse to amplify it uncritically, and provide the context audiences need to recognize the harm these narratives cause.
