Media: Stop Dehumanizing Attacks on Women Voters

In the days following the November 4 elections, right-wing media figures launched a coordinated wave of misogynistic attacks against young women voters — calling them “insane,” “scary,” “fickle,” and even a “threat to America.”

Fox News and Newsmax hosts openly mocked and demeaned women for exercising their right to vote, suggesting that women’s education, empathy, or independence makes them unstable or dangerous. This is not political commentary — it’s an effort to shame and silence a key voting bloc.

The media should challenge this demeaning rhetoric, not amplify or normalize it. When major outlets give space to voices that insult women for participating in democracy, they undermine the very foundation of equal representation.

Add your name to demand mainstream media hold networks like Fox News and Newsmax accountable for platforming misogynistic attacks on women voters — and commit to fair, factual coverage that respects all citizens’ right to political participation.
