Media: Stop Defending Policies That Harm Farmers

Recently on Fox News, a third-generation farmer called in warning of a looming farm bankruptcy crisis — contracts canceled, export markets paused, input costs up 30–50%, and no farm bill or rescue in sight. These are real, immediate threats to the people who feed the country.

Instead of centering those voices, too many hosts frame trade and policy as political wins — brushing off farmers’ warnings or promising future fixes that haven’t materialized. That spin protects an administration acting against farmers’ interests rather than serving the people on the ground.
