Lee Zeldin Praised Climate Denial. Tell Him: Resign Now.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin just crossed a dangerous—and unacceptable—line.

At a recent conference hosted by the Heartland Institute—a group notorious for denying the overwhelming scientific consensus on climate change—Zeldin didn’t just attend. He applauded them. He praised their years-long effort to question climate science and block action to reduce pollution, calling the moment “a day to celebrate vindication.”

Let that sink in.

The person tasked with protecting our air, water, and climate is openly celebrating climate denial.

This isn’t just rhetoric—it has real consequences.

Communities across the United States are already facing stronger hurricanes, more destructive wildfires, deadly heat waves, and rising costs for food, energy, and insurance. Scientists are clear: these impacts will only worsen without urgent action to cut greenhouse gas emissions.

But instead of confronting this reality, Zeldin is embracing the very forces that have delayed action for decades.

And he’s not stopping at words.

Under Zeldin’s leadership, the EPA has moved to repeal the “endangerment finding,” a cornerstone policy that allows the federal government to regulate climate pollution from cars and other major sources. Eliminating it would strip away one of the most important tools we have to protect public health and limit climate damage.

That’s not just irresponsible—it’s a direct attack on the EPA’s mission.

The agency exists to safeguard people from environmental harm. It is supposed to follow science, protect communities, and hold polluters accountable. Instead, Zeldin is aligning himself with polluter-backed interests and ideological groups that deny basic facts.

We cannot afford this kind of leadership in the middle of a climate crisis.

Every day of delay means more damage, more suffering, and higher costs for families across the country.

The American people deserve an EPA Administrator who takes this crisis seriously—who respects science and works to protect our future, not undermine it.

Lee Zeldin has made one thing painfully clear: he is not willing to do the job the American people need him to do.

He has sided with climate denial over science, polluters over people, and political ideology over public safety. He is actively undermining the very mission of the agency he was appointed to lead.

That’s why we’re calling for him to step down as EPA Administrator.

If you believe the EPA should protect our health—not put it at risk…
If you believe science—not denial—should guide our climate policies…
If you believe our future is worth fighting for…

Sign the petition calling for his resignation today.

The petition to EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin reads: You have publicly praised climate denial and supported dismantling critical protections against climate pollution. At a time when Americans are already suffering the consequences of climate change, your actions put our health, safety, and future at risk. We call on you to resign immediately.
