Last Chance of Survival for North Atlantic Right Whales

A new estimate by the North Atlantic Right Whale Consortium found that the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale population dropped nearly 10% last year, bringing the overall population to around 330 whales left.

As their number declines each year, the government's failed efforts to protect these whales from human assault becomes clearer — North Atlantic right whales could be the first large whale species to go extinct in the Atlantic Ocean in centuries.

Oceana is fighting to save these whales, but in this race against time, we can't do it alone. We need your voice to tell your government officials to protect these whales before they're gone forever.

Tell the U.S. government to take immediate and necessary action to protect North Atlantic right whales before it's too late >>
