Investigate Trump and Musk’s Corrupt Tariff Scheme

Donald Trump is using U.S. trade policy to enrich Elon Musk—and Congress must investigate now.

Multiple credible reports reveal a disturbing scheme: the Trump administration is pressuring foreign governments to approve Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite service by leveraging U.S. tariffs as diplomatic blackmail. Countries that grant Musk favorable market access could see tariff relief, while those that resist may face harsher trade penalties. 

This is a blatant abuse of power and a gift to one of Trump’s most influential allies, and Democrats in Congress are demanding answers, citing serious concerns about corruption, conflicts of interest, and the erosion of democratic norms.
