In early 2026, the DOJ released a massive trove of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s trafficking network. But instead of fully exposing the wealthy and powerful people who enabled Epstein’s abuse, the DOJ withheld roughly 200,000 pages while redacting key details that could identify enablers and co-conspirators. At the same time, the DOJ failed to properly protect victims. Survivors and journalists have reported that the release included identifying information about victims who never came forward publicly, including names, Social Security numbers, and nude photos. This was not transparency — it was negligence. It retraumatized survivors, endangered their safety, and showed contempt for the basic duty of government to protect victims of sexual violence. This failure is not a small mistake. It is a serious breach of duty by the country's highest law enforcement office. If the Attorney General cannot release records without exposing victims, then she is unfit to hold office. Members of Congress are already calling for impeachment. The public must make sure those calls turn into action. We demand that Congress move forward with impeachment proceedings immediately, hold public hearings on the DOJ’s mishandling of these files, and ensure victims are protected while every page connected to Epstein’s powerful enablers is released. Impeachment is accountability. Survivors deserve better. Sign now.
