The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is considering removing grizzly bears from the Endangered Species Act (ESA). If approved, bears in and around Yellowstone National Park and near Glacier National Park would be vulnerable to habitat loss and a host of other threats. Grizzly bears in these areas are just beginning to recover from a century of persecution, and now is not the time to remove protections. We need to keep safeguards in place until the science shows grizzly bears are fully recovered in the region, and until the states have adequate rules in place to ensure grizzly bears will thrive for future generations. Tell the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service: Keep grizzly bears protected under the ESA!
