Trump's sweeping rollback of women's global health programs—including slashing USAID funding overnight—has led to deadly outcomes for millions of women and girls worldwide, cutting off access to life-saving health services. Together with the Fòs Feminista Alliance, you can rise to the occasion and combat this egregious directive. 

Several of our partners and their life-saving health programs are suffering. A new report has revealed the following impacts affecting vulnerable communities, among many others: 

-  Over $9 million intended to expand HIV testing to marginalized populations in Latin America has been canceled. 

-  An $800,000 project to expand HIV testing and treatment for young people in Africa has been shuttered—cutting off critical care for those who need it most. 

-  A Fòs Feminista partner was forced to halt the signing of a $175,000 contract that would have improved the Dominican Republic’s justice system in responding to gender-based violence in rural communities. 

-  In total, the Trump Administration’s actions have already led to an estimated $13 million in funding being cut or frozen from Fòs Feminista partners, forcing them to scale back or shut down critical programs. 

The impacts don’t stop there. The Trump Administration reinstated the Global Gag Rule, withdrew the United States from the World Health Organization, and expanded the "Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance" policy, extending anti-abortion restrictions to nearly all U.S. global health funding. Fòs Feminista’s alliance of partners is rallying to the cause and needs your support. We’re mobilizing to counter the devastating impact of funding cuts to reproductive health programs by: 

-  Ensuring continuity of care by providing essential sexual and reproductive health supplies through our global network 

-  Training our partners in the Global South to advocate for government investment in sexual and reproductive health 

-  Fostering financial resilience among our partners by developing sustainable funding models 

While the cuts are being challenged in court, it remains unclear whether or when lost funding will be restored. The reality is that the damage has already been done, and millions of women and girls can’t wait.
