Free Marwan Barghouti Before Nov 28 Elections in Palestine!

Marwan Barghouti is the most popular leader in Palestine. For most of the last three years, he's been held in solitary confinement in an Israeli prison, where his lawyer reports repeated beatings. His family hasn't been allowed to see him.

Former heads of Israel's Shin Bet and Mossad have called for his release. On September 25, Rep. Ro Khanna became the first member of Congress to join them. In October 2025, President Trump said he'd "be making a decision" on pressing Israel to free him. He still hasn't.

Palestinians will hold their first legislative election in 20 years on November 28, with presidential elections to follow. Barghouti is consistently their most popular leader across factions. Former heads of Israel's Shin Bet and Mossad have called for his release. No lasting peace is possible unless Palestinians can choose their own leaders.

Barghouti has spent most of the last three years in solitary confinement, with his lawyer reporting repeated assaults and his family barred from visiting.

The United States sends Israel $3.8 billion in military aid every year. No other government has that kind of leverage. In October 2025, President Trump said he would make a decision on Barghouti's release. We urge you to make it now.”
