Free Mahmoud Khalil: Defend Free Speech
Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian-American grad student at Columbia, was supposed to celebrate his graduation this May. Instead, he spent it in an ICE detention center---arrested without a warrant, denied due process, and targeted for peacefully protesting for Palestinian rights. Despite having no criminal record and lawful permanent residency, the Trump administration is trying to deport him under the guise of “national security.” Sign the petition to demand Mahmoud Khalil’s immediate release and an end to political deportations targeting peaceful student protesters.
