Fire Heritage Foundation President for Violent Rhetoric

"We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be."

That's what Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts said on the July 2 airing of Real America's Voice's War Room program.

Let's be clear about what Roberts is doing. He's explicitly threatening political violence if Republicans and conservatives don't get their way. It's dangerous, irresponsible and unpatriotic – and we can't let him get away with it.

Sign the petition urging the Heritage Foundation's Board of Trustees to immediately remove Kevin Roberts from his leadership position and issue a statement making it clear that they do not support political violence.

The Heritage Foundation is a far-right think tank that has been shaping American policies for more than 50 years. It's biggest current project is Project 2025, a terrifying plan to reshape the federal government and consolidate government power in a potential second term for Donald Trump.

It is governed by an 18-person independent Board of Trustees made up of business leaders, conservative activists and wealthy Republican philanthropists.

The Heritage Foundation's Board of Trustees has fired its president before for a far lesser offense. In 2017, it voted unanimously to fire its then-president Jim DeMint due to "significant and worsening management issues that led to a breakdown of internal communications and cooperation."

If they can fire a president for management issues, surely they will fire Kevin Roberts for threatening violence against Democrats.
