2026 is already the deadliest fiscal year on record for ICE. Over 54 people have died in ICE detention since the start of the Trump Administration. In 2025 alone, 17 people died in CBP custody. Enough. Immigration agents have been committing widespread human rights violations with impunity. The result: Communities are left devastated. Children have lost their parents. ICE’s presence across the U.S. has spread fear, separated families, and taken lives. Our leaders must act. ICE does not belong in our communities, and something must be done before yet another life is lost.
