Enough is Enough! It’s Time To Expand The Supreme Court

We need to talk about the U.S. Supreme Court. With widespread corruption by many of our conservative justices running rampant – calling the legitimacy of our democracy into question – we must make our voices heard: it’s time to expand the court!

Republicans have been strategically building this Court for decades, including  the unprecedented move of blocking a nominee from a Democratic president and proceeding to stack the Court with anti-abortion judges willing to pursue a partisan agenda while benefiting from lax ethical rules and undue influence from conservative mega-donors. From overturning 𝘙𝘰𝘦 𝘷. 𝘞𝘢𝘥𝘦  to having the power to decide whether or not a medication abortion pill remains accessible in our country, our fundamental freedoms are at the mercy of these biased and unchecked judges.

Restoring trust in the Supreme Court requires a comprehensive, vigorous approach. We need more fair-minded judges appointed to all federal courts to rebalance the scales. We need investigations into justices for alleged ethics violations, corruption, and other misconduct. We need Congress to pass ethics reform for the Court. And we must expand the Supreme Court now.
