End the Shutdown — Protect Nutrition for Families & Children

Every day the government remains shut down, millions of families lose access to essential services — including food assistance that keeps children healthy. The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program could soon run out of funds, leaving vulnerable families without vital nutrition support.

WIC provides healthy food, healthcare referrals, and nutrition education to over 6 million pregnant women, new mothers, and young children nationwide. It’s one of the most effective anti-hunger programs in America — and it’s too important to become collateral damage in a political standoff.

Donald Trump and congressional Republicans must act immediately to reopen the government and fully fund WIC. Families shouldn’t have to pay the price for gridlock in Washington.
