Denounce the Supreme Court for Letting Trump Off the Hook

In a monumental decision, the Supreme Court just ruled that Donald Trump has "absolute immunity" from criminal charges for "official acts."

This decision greatly increases the likelihood that Trump will NOT be held accountable for his role in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol or the other efforts he undertook to stop the peaceful transition of power following his loss in the 2020 presidential election.

The vote was 6-3, with all six conservative justices ruling in Trump's favor.

In the dissenting opinion, Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote: "With fear for our Democracy, I dissent." She added that the decision "makes a mockery of the principle, foundational to our Constitution and system of Government, that no man is above the law."

Let's be clear about what this means: Corrupt conservative Supreme Court justices, several of which were given lifetime appointments by Donald Trump, have intentionally twisted the Constitution to allow Trump to get away with his crimes without consequence.
