Donald Trump’s Justice Department is trying to erase the truth about January 6 from public view.

The DOJ has scrubbed its website of press releases documenting charges, convictions, and sentencings tied to the attack on the U.S. Capitol — including cases involving people accused of assaulting police and members of extremist groups convicted of seditious conspiracy. The department is now dismissing those records as “partisan propaganda.”

This purge comes just days after the DOJ announced a $1.776 billion “anti-weaponization” fund that could compensate Trump allies who claim they were unfairly investigated or prosecuted. It also comes just weeks after the DOJ indicted former FBI Director James Comey over an innocuous photo posted online.
