Denounce the Companies Bribing Trump with Ballroom Funding

Donald Trump is selling access to the presidency—and some of America’s biggest corporations are buying it. Major companies like Google, Apple, Amazon, and Lockheed Martin have poured millions into Trump’s lavish new White House ballroom project, according to recent reports. This is corruption dressed up as philanthropy.

These corporations are clearly trying to win favor with Trump and buy access to power. They know exactly what they’re doing: funding a monument to ego in exchange for political influence and regulatory leniency. As HuffPost put it, “Trump may have destroyed American history by razing the East Wing, but at least these corporations and rich people get to buy access to the president.”

It’s immoral. It’s corrupt. And it’s terrible business. Aligning so closely with a criminally indicted, deeply unpopular president isn’t just unethical—it’s reckless. These companies are gambling their reputations, their workers’ trust, and their customers’ loyalty to cozy up to a man who has spent his career undermining democracy and enriching himself at the public’s expense.

Signing this petition sends a clear message: corporate America cannot buy power and expect silence in return. Public outrage matters. When consumers, employees, and investors demand integrity, corporations listen. That pressure can force change—cutting off the money pipeline that sustains Trump’s corrupt machine.

The companies bankrolling Trump’s ballroom include: Altria Group, Amazon, Apple, Booz Allen Hamilton, Caterpillar, Coinbase, Comcast Corporation, Hard Rock International, Google, HP Inc., Lockheed Martin, Meta Platforms, Micron Technology, Microsoft, NextEra Energy, Palantir Technologies, Ripple, Reynolds American, T-Mobile, Tether America, Union Pacific Railroad, and a roster of wealthy donors like Harold Hamm, Stephen A. Schwarzman, and the Adelson Family Foundation.

We must act now. These companies have chosen corruption over conscience. Let’s make sure they know the public is watching—and we won’t forget.
