Democrats Must Refuse to Fund Trump’s Illegal War With Iran

Donald Trump launched military strikes against Iran without congressional authorization. Now, after signing a $900 billion defense spending bill, he’s demanding billions more from Congress to bankroll the war.

Congress must say no.

The Constitution gives Congress — not the president — the power to declare war. Yet the administration is preparing to request a massive supplemental funding package to continue the conflict, with some estimates reaching roughly $50 billion.
