Demand equitable public education funding

A recent study by Stanford scholars found that majority-Black public schools in the United States are far more likely than others to be shuttered.  As the extra federal funding for public schools begins to phase out this year, schools already facing inadequate funding will be hit the hardest.

At HEAL Together, we believe that an honest, accurate, and fully funded public education system is fundamental to building a just, multiracial democracy – a society in which everyone can thrive. 

Sign our petition demanding a sustained increase in federal funding for our public schools - much needed funding that lifts up undeserved and underfunded communities.

We have the means to have well resourced schools in every community in the U.S., where all students - regardless of race, gender, ability or other identity - have the means and the freedom to learn and to be themselves.  Raise your voice to demand our policymakers make this a priority.
