Demand Action: Congress needs to Disqualify Insurrectionists

No one is above the law. The Supreme Court ruled on the Colorado 14.3 case that former President Donald Trump (who incited insurrection) can remain on the ballot.

This must be challenged by everyone who calls the United States of America home. The American people are not fools. We saw and heard former President Trump incite his followers and then look away as harm befell officers defending Congress. Trump attempted to silence voters by stealing their votes. The Supreme Court ruled on a technicality, not the merits of the case. Furthermore, they punted the issue to Congress to fix this problem.

It might seem like common sense that when a person commits an insurrection or treasonous act on our community, state, or nation, that said person should be disqualified from running for any local, state, or federal public office. However, we are a nation ruled by laws- not commonsense, and we must advocate for Congress to champion laws that protect our communities.

Can you take 1 (one) minute and sign the petition to Members of Congress to advocate and enact a law that protects our community from any person (including Presidents) that commits an insurrection or treasonous acts on our community, state, or nation?
