Congress: Block Project 2025 Attacks on Climate Progress

As the world faces unprecedented climate challenges—floods, wildfires, extreme weather events, and rising sea levels—now is the time to do more to protect communities, not regress into policies that would make the crisis worse.

The proposals in Project 2025 would dismantle environmental regulations, weaken clean energy initiatives, and jeopardize the progress we’ve made in addressing the climate emergency.

Among its proposed actions are:

- Eliminating the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration;
- Stopping the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from tracking methane emissions managing pollutants, and researching climate solutions;
- Increasing fossil fuel drilling on public lands and new fossil fuel power plants.
- Ending research into clean energy research at the Department of Energy and more.

Congress must act as a stop on this regression into dirty energy dominance by blocking any climate-killing legislation.

John Kerry, who served as U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, emphasized this when he stated, "We have to work harder to keep the world on the path toward a clean energy economy. The future of our planet depends on it." Project 2025 threatens to derail the progress made under previous administrations and damage the credibility of the U.S. in global climate leadership. The stakes could not be higher.

Add your name to tell Congress to reject Project 2025 and any legislation inspired by its anti-environmental agenda.
