Celebrate This Win for Medicaid and Health Care Access

There’s some good news from the U.S. Senate: the chamber’s nonpartisan parliamentarian just struck down several of the most dangerous provisions in Trump’s so-called “one big, beautiful bill,” including attacks on Medicaid and access to care for some of the country’s most vulnerable people.

Thanks to this ruling, Republicans can no longer use this bill to block Medicaid funding for gender-affirming care or to strip coverage from immigrant communities. It also removes a controversial tax proposal that would have jeopardized health care funding for millions.

Senate Democrats are fighting back provision by provision — defending the Affordable Care Act, protecting kids, seniors, and people with disabilities, and standing up for the basic principle that health care is a human right.

Add your name to celebrate this key victory and thank the lawmakers holding the line against cruel cuts to Medicaid and health care access.
