Celebrate the Removal of Medical Debt from Credit Reports

We celebrate the Biden-Harris administration’s transformative action to remove medical debt from consumer credit reports, a decision that will benefit over 15 million Americans. This monumental change will raise credit scores by an average of 20 points and eliminate a barrier that has disproportionately impacted women, people with disabilities, and Black Americans.
