Judge Paul Friedman’s order halts Trump’s executive action that tried to cancel union contracts, eliminate dues collections, and crush workers' rights at major agencies like the Departments of Justice, Health and Human Services, Treasury, and more. His ruling forces agencies to once again engage with unions and respect workers’ voices on the job.

This critical decision stands up for the long-established rights of federal workers to organize, negotiate, and fight for fair treatment. It also sends a powerful message: presidents cannot ignore the law or retaliate against unions for opposing dangerous agendas.
