For months the United Nations has warned of famine in Gaza unless humanitarian aid can scale to meet the extreme level of need in the enclave, fighting stops, and vital services — electricity, water, sanitation, and medical care — are restored. 

Yet the situation has only worsened: A quarter of the population of Gaza, nearly 500,000 people, face the most catastrophic levels of hunger.

Mercy Corps is a global team of humanitarians working together on the front lines of today’s biggest crises to create a future of possibility, where everyone can prosper. So far, we have been able to deliver limited aid in Gaza, yet it is just a small drop in an ocean of need. 

We will not stop until Palestinian families have the food they need to survive this conflict.
