Call for an Immediate Ceasefire in Sudan

Sudan is on the brink of catastrophe. After more than a year of conflict, the fighting has pushed millions from their homes, destroyed vital infrastructure, and created one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises. Now, famine is spreading into even more regions, putting children, families, and entire communities at risk of starvation.

There is no military solution to this crisis. Every day the fighting continues, more lives are lost, and the window to prevent mass starvation closes further. Humanitarian organizations are calling for an immediate ceasefire to allow food, water, and medical aid to reach those in desperate need.

The international community — including the United States, the African Union, and the United Nations — must act urgently to broker peace, protect civilians, and ensure full humanitarian access across Sudan.
