Applaud the Senators Reclaiming the Kennedy Center for Pride

Five Democratic senators are taking a bold and joyful stand for LGBTQ+ rights and artistic freedom. In a powerful act of resistance, they’ve rented a theater at the Kennedy Center, recently taken over by President Trump, and are hosting a Pride concert called Love Is Love.

Featuring Broadway legends and created by the lead producer of Hamilton, the concert is a vibrant celebration of queer creativity, resilience, and joy. It sends a clear message: no matter who controls the building, the stage belongs to everyone.

Senators John Hickenlooper, Tammy Baldwin, Jacky Rosen, Brian Schatz, and Elizabeth Warren are showing that Pride is about visibility, courage, and solidarity. By using their congressional power to host this event, they’re reclaiming space for love and inclusion at one of America’s most iconic cultural institutions.

Add your name to applaud these senators for standing up to censorship and celebrating LGBTQ+ pride in the face of political hostility.
