Applaud the Court for Blocking Trump’s Prosecutions

A federal judge has delivered a major victory for fairness and the rule of law — dismissing Donald Trump’s politically driven cases against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James after finding that the prosecutor Trump handpicked was illegally appointed.

Judge Cameron Currie ruled that Lindsey Halligan, installed by Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi, had no lawful authority to bring charges — making the indictments invalid. 
Her decision protects two public servants from baseless retaliation and sends a clear message: no president can weaponize the Justice Department to target political enemies.

Comey and James both praised the ruling, emphasizing that the case was never about real crimes — it was about abuse of power. Thanks to this decision, the justice system held firm.
